Beacon Hill Affordable Transit Orient Development Apartments will be a 70-unit apartment building for low-income households, located across the street from the community-based non-profit’s headquarters at Plaza Roberto Maestas near Beacon Hill Station. Units will consist of 40 studios, 12 one-bedrooms, 10 two-bedrooms, 6 three-bedrooms, and 2 four-bedrooms, along with a community center on the ground floor. Rents are targeted at 30%, 50% and 60% AMI. Edge owns the land and is working with El Centro de la Raza to develop the new building. Construction is expected to start Summer of 2025.
